Our Thrive team — in partnership with Aisha Adams Media and Children First/Communities in Schools of Buncombe County — is on a mission to clarify your path to home ownership and affordable rentals.

Over the last few months, our team has asked 150+ folks — from voucher holders to renters to aspiring homeowners — what hurdles are they facing? And how could an affordable home change their life?

On May 15, Thrive will unveil this data at May’s Virtual Folding Chair event, hosted by Aisha Adams and the Lenoir-Rhyne Equity and Diversity Institute. In addition to sharing a video of series that highlights the real stories facing Asheville resident, Thrive will provide comprehensive takeaways and policy recommendations that will speak to the largest questions, challenges and elements of confusion facing our community.
